Stoic Sage Podcast

What is the Stoic Sage

A Stoic Sage is ultimately an unattainable status, nevertheless, a status to strive for as it employs a simple philosophy:

For as long as we live, we should continue to learn how to live.

Becoming a Stoic Sage is uncommon to the modern Stoic but I have a goal to bring back this status for practicing Stoics. Modern Stoicism often offers no goal, no end result, no achievement; and while a title should mean little to a Stoic, it offers an ideal to continue to strive for.

Your Stoic Journey

Stoicism today offers its students a mindset that has helped millions of people around the world, including societal developments into modern psychology.

While it has benefited many people, how does the modern Stoic utilize the tools and techniques to be Stoic in ANY situation?

This course aims to tackle just that! Yes, it can be incredibly simple to just say, "let go of those things outside of your control", but HOW do you apply it to the nuances of everyday life like health, fitness, friendships, relationships, business, and parenting?

There is so much more that Stoicism offers that goes beyond what people think it is. We see it too often; the assumptions of suppressing your feelings.

This course aims to change that!

Fitness

We are constantly overwhelmed with information about health and fitness. One routine claimed to be superior, foods you should absolutely avoid, this influencer's secret to getting in shape the fastest. Let's first discuss the realities and then apply the Stoic principles to approach health and fitness.

Relationships

How does a Stoic create and maintain friendships, or how does a Stoic form loving bonds and address relationship challenges? It is misunderstood that in these moments of life, a Stoic should avoid their emotions. This is not the Stoic way, we are human before we Stoic. We feel, but it is our choice to respond appropriately.

Business

Career, business, and personal development, how do they all connect and how does a Stoic employ the practices when financial disaster feels ever looming? How do we remain Stoic when our livelihoods are seemingly uncertain? How do we come to terms with our place in the world?
